This is in a very good location still in the Medina but just on the edge, you can walk 50 m to a taxi stand to catch a taxi anywhere else in the larger city. It's just off of very busy commercial tiny street (souk), and the alley that it's on is a nice bit of quiet before you get to the door. The place is very cute and it seems like there's new paint and new bathroom fixtures, as well as a nice modern TV and air conditioner in our room. The rooms are quite small and immediately off the courtyard. but they make up for any size problem by being stylish and cute. Our bathroom is actually very very pretty and artful, with very nice tile and the shower is well made with good fixtures and good water pressure. The operator seem friendly, but I think they really tried to rip me off with a setting up a taxi for tomorrow morning. They also seem to unplug the Wi-Fi when anyone isn't around, so you have to ask for the Wi-Fi to be turned on every time you want to use it. the AC in the room worked, though it's cycle did seem to make a strange grinding noise every 4 minutes or so. The Terrace is nice, I might say average but clean, but there isn't any View at all. For the fact that there seem to be dozens of hotels around, this seems a little high-priced, but maybe I've been traveling in the countryside for too long. He did get up early to make us a small breakfast as we had to leave early to get to the airport, so I appreciate that. My biggest negative was that I did ask the propitiator if they could help me get a taxi set up for the morning, as we were going to be going to the airport early, and he quoted me 30 EURO, when it should have been 3. I said no thank you, and then asked another hotel manager on the same road, and said maybe 10 euro. I walked to the taxi stand myself and got one for 15. even that was ridiculous, but the taxi driver was vigilantly waiting for us at the appointed time, which was nice. Again, should have been 3. That sort of petty rip off really leaves a sour taste with me. otherwise would say this was 5 star.

The staff members were wonderful! Thank you! Our suite and the riad shared spaces were very comfortable. Excellent wifi. Our room and bathroom were cleaned daily, with fresh towels every day, and a bed linen change half way through our 7-day stay. The breakfast is ample. Steps away is the Medina, in all its chaotic glory!

beautiful, calm oasis, room was stunning, the bed in the suite is huge, the shower is massive and always hot water, beautifully decorated, breakfast included. The staff are helpful to a t. They organised my airport transfer and also organised to have a henna artist come in! They are friendly without being intrusive. The room was cleaned daily and it was spotless! I love this place! The location was great, an easy walk to the main square, near the Bahia Palace, great shops and cafes nearby.

We stayed in 3 different riads this time in Marrakech and Riad Leila was the very best. Friendly welcome, stunning courtyard, clean, warm and attractive room with plenty of hot water. Breakfast on pretty roof terrace was typical Moroccan style breakfast served with smiles. Perfectly quiet at night and a haven of calm during the day. Perfectly located just minutes walk to D'jemaa el Fna. To give you a flavour before you go, please read my novel The Kings in the Kasbah which is a tourist tale set in the old quarter of Marrakech.Have visited the city many times and Riad Leila truly is one of the best places to stay. It will be my riad of choice next time I visit and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Everything about this place was perfect. It was a calm oasis in the very middle of the chaotic Marrakech city centre. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop is to this day our favorite hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. The hotel is small and consists of only a few rooms.The only negative - no cards accepted, only cash, which is standard in Morocco, but hotels should accept cards or online payment.I will definitely book again when I come back to Marrakech, and you should too!

The host was really nice and served nice breakfast at 9 am (e.g. pancakes, fruits, bread with marmolade, Orange juice and tea). The localisation couldn't be better - 4 min walking from The Bachia Palace and really nice walk to other attractions. My single room was small but nice and clean. There was no tv in the room but for me it was a plus :). There was a hot water with good preassure in the shower.
